• At the Mojave air and space port XCOR aerospace is opening their doors for a visit of future astronauts and business partners.
Inside a hangar scientists, engineers and mechanics are working on the Lynx mark 1, a reusable spaceship that should carry a pilot and passenger up to an altitude of 60 kilometers. After all the testing is completed work will start on the Lynx mark 2, which will aim for an altitude of 100 kilometers, or suborbital space.
Together with Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic XCOR is one of the three main players in the race for space tourism.
Through an international network of sales agents, led by XCOR Space Expeditions based in the Netherlands, the company has sold over 300 tickets.
